Tsz-wing HO

Bubbles is a 2-minute 2D digital animation created in Procreate, Photoshop and After Effects. The aim of the animation is to present bubbles in a playful way. There are different colorful geometric shapes and abstract patterns inside the bubbles. The work focuses on visual elements and a happy vibe. Audiences can experience a surreal and joyful “bubble” adventure.

About the Artist

Born and living in Hong Kong, Tsz-wing HO is an animator and illustrator. She obtained Master of Fine Arts in Creative Media from the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong in 2022. She creates animation and illustration by exploring the possibilities of abstract art. Her animation works were awarded “Vimeo Staff Pick”, the Award of Excellence at Communication Arts Illustration Competition 2022, the Best Abstract Animation Award at 2021 London International Animation Festival and the "Junior Jury Award for a Graduation Film" at 2020 Annecy International Animated Film Festival, etc.
