Pixel Puppii

The Seemingly Inescapable Passage of Time was never supposed to make it out into the world. A deeply personal interplay of self-portraiture, fractal landscapes, and abstracted noise, the work began as a diary—a way to process my transition in my own little way. The world is a scary place for trans/nb people right now, but it feels important now more than over to show this work to the world and to open up the conversations and stories it carries. Subtle abstractions flow forward and back, letting the sense of self breathe as time keeps passing.

About the Artist

Pixel Puppii is a transfemme multimedia artist and fine art printer with a focus on uplifting queer and trans communities through print and projection. Their background is in alternative-process darkroom photography and fine art reproduction, and they currently serve as lead printmaker at Artisan Press Works in Denver. Though they work across many media, all their art eventually finds its way into TouchDesigner, where they have full control over,, everything. ♡

When not immersed in printed or projected media, Puppii loves hiking, foraging, swimming, and playing outside with friends. ♡
