Mr. LO’s Paper Show

This is a short segment of my paper tearing show that I perform all over the world in variety shows, circuses, festivals and events. Paper tearing originated in the Victorian Age and was included in the magic literature of Harry Houdini. I have updated it with other paper arts and elements of my Mexican heritage.

After a long career in ballet with such well known companies as the Los Angeles Ballet, The Minnesota Dance Theater and at several German state theaters Mr. Torres became a contortionist, performing in the European event and variety theater scene where he discovered an old Swiss artist named“ MACAO the king of paper“. Macao would not teach him this art so Mr. Torres taught himself from watching videos. Mr. LO works internationally and has performed in spaces from someones living room to the Olympic Stadium in Munich for the Karate world championship 2000.

Lorenzo Torres was born in California, studied ballet in England and presently lives in Germany.
